You could also make an argument that having what is supposed to be a forum for the other queens to celebrate their triumphs etc. overshadowed by talk about another queen who isn’t there, and entirely due to her bad acts. wouldn’t be fair to the remaining queens.

That was dark but it was different. R and M did that together as a way to get out of the Cronenberged reality because they literally had no other option. This was just Rick being gratuitously extremely cruel to Morty which, yes, happens sometimes, but usually not to this extent

Yeah it was a great misdirection. I was thinking it would build to a point where Morty would have to push the button to save them from the plane crash and the rest of the episode would be centered on him making that choice

“Smoke em up Johnny!!!”

Well as Zack himself pointed out in the review this has a very similar theme to the heist episode, which was only three or four episodes ago, even though it seems like it was much longer ago due to the season being split in two. And I agree it seems a little too dark even for this show

It wasn’t completely spelled out but it’s pretty clear to me that they’re just doing a top 3 for the finale, which again makes me feel bad for poor Jackie

I think the reunion show was not filmed before the pandemic and therefore Sherry will not be in it

I disagree that the internet has given “Stan” a positive connotation. Stans are generally seen as unhinged and crazy. Fan already means “fanatic”. Stans are a whole different level of insanity and devotion. Sometimes people say they “stan so and so” or whatever but I always thought it was supposed to be a bit

I kind of agree. Crystal seems really sweet as a person so it’s hard to hate her but I do kind of hate her aesthetic. I think most of her lewks are just straight up ugly. I do dissent a bit on the Ernie and Bert. I thought there Crystal found a way to make it more fashiony despite the garishness

“Dufus Rick” was nice but of course lacked Rick’s cognitive/intellectual abilities

I think it’s quite clear that “our” Rick would hate a person like that and be their enemy

I think part of the reason the MJ playing baseball thing get so hyped though it it’s not merely an “elite level” basketball player playing baseball but the possible world historical GOAT of basketball, which makes any achievement in a second team sport seem all the more impressive. The only sports I follow are

How does Bo Jackson compare?

Some good stuff and as usual better than a lot of stuff that ended up in the episode

It was an accurate impression but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it was funny

Mulaney is really easy to imitate because of his distinctive delivery. I didn’t think Melissa’s impression brought anything beyond that and it wasn’t funny

I’m 47 and I love it

This is incorrect. He’s funny and good

It was good and weird and funny

I agree completely on Sherri. Michelle was completely in the right to call her “selfish”. I couldn’t believe that the rest of the panel acted like Michelle had gone too far with that
