The new SZA record finally came out. It's pretty great

I only listen to metal when I'm at the laundromat.

Truth. My own shitty NOFX mix definitely got more play than any of their complete albums.

If I had my druthers, I would cut Don't Call Me White, My Heart Is Yearning, The Brews, The Quass, Jeff Wears Birkenstocks?, and Punk Guy ('Cause He Does Punk Things) from Punk In Drublic.

Why does everyone act like War On Errorism was this huge, political statement? It only has, like, 3 or 4 political songs (which was not uncommon for the band by that point). And those songs had to share real estate with bullshit like "She's Nubs" and "Mattersville."

There are two Rilo Kiley songs that I love. "A Better Son/Daughter" and "Pictures of Success." Especially the former though. Like, right when the song really jumps off at the "…and sometimes when you're on, you're really fucking on" part.

I actually went to the Coming Out Of Their Shells tour when I was a kid. Somewhere in Illinois. I have no idea where. I was 5 or 6 years old, thought that shit was cool as fuck.

It's not that hyperbolic at all. Look at the bands that sites like Punknews were covering from around 2006 to 2011. It was almost exclusively a bunch of dudes in flannel shirts with beards who sounded like The Lawrence Arms or Dillinger Four. The Lawrence Arms, and Oh! Calcutta! specifically, more or less defined what

I'm also at work. I'm off at 8am though.

It Follows was alright. Not great. Not as bad as The Babadook though. It had an interesting premise, but not much follow through.

**cheap pop**

OK, but the first two songs you mentioned (Fluorescent Stars and Books About MIles Davis) came out four years after DorkRockCorkRod). It doesn't make sense to reference those songs as signs of maturity and then call a song that came out before those a step backwards.

Going to start the last season of Gilmore Girls. Not sure why. My hopes are not high for season 7, especially after how bad season 6 was.

What about "Theme Song" by The Aquabats?

I got one beef here. While Clarity is a fantastic record, Jimmy Eat World needed Bleed American to legitimize themselves. They would have just been another failed band without that record, and Clarity would have remained out of print and underrated. On the flipside, Something To Write Home About was probably the

This 7" is so fucking good.

Cherry Poppin Daddies actually make sense on a Warped Tour. Obviously they are know primarily for that compilation of their swing revival songs, but they also were known for playing ska/punk stuff as well.

"(Nobody Wants To) Make Out (With Me [Because I Wear Sweatpants])" by The Steinways is certainly worth a mention.Or a million different Boris The Sprinkler song titles.
