I'm surprised you weren't disappointed to see Louie open with a verbatim bit from his recent stand-up tour (except shoehorning in "This happened because the hurricane made me stuck at the airport"). I was really deflated by that.

I get what you mean, but sometimes in these movies, the celebrities' characters are purposely written to riff on their screen personas, and it makes their performance natural, rather than just stunt casting.

Distaste for one of the actors playing a character in an animated movie is no reason to avoid the movie. I speak from experience. I was hesitant to watch "Wreck-It-Ralph" because I always find Jack McBrayer annoying as hell.

I'm disappointed that they didn't change the title sequence for the second season, as shows often do. Use clips from the first season for the second season opening credits, why don't ya? I am giving this advice for the sake of the show. To spare it further criticism. I'm just trying to make sure they don't get hit…

I just watched "Short Cuts" last night for the first time. Then I wake up and this article is posted, and her role in "Short Cuts" is the one referenced under the headline. So creepy. Stop stalking me, A.V. Club.

I think of "Three Of A Kind" not only as a sequel, but also as the middle chapter in a trilogy. Season 9's "Jump the Shark" can be considered a third installment in this Lone Gunmen arc. I find the title fitting, since it's the last X-Files episode I really enjoyed (although there are only 5 episodes left after it).

I still think it's the best comic/superhero movie we've had so far and I tell people whenever I get the chance. It probably makes me sound like a crazy person, but I can't help how I feel.

Another great "X-Files" choice would have been Folie à Deux, which was my first guess when I got an "X-Files" notification for this article. I love the murky special effects of the Bugman. LOOK AT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, really. I love "2001: A Space Odyssey", but I love this movie more (never cared for "Babe"). I think the only 'family' movie I like almost as much (or even equally) is "Monsters Inc".
