The thing I liked about it was that as I was watching it, I realized that it must have been done because Louie realized the comedic potential of watching a film/TV crew in that context.

Yeah, he undersells himself saying we had to "put up" with him for two weeks. I was actually relieved to be able to read a "Louie" review by someone other than Rabin.

Movies in general need more powerful villian teams. Ebert pointed out how funny it was in the first "X-Men" movie when you had the X-Men with their diverse powers against Magneto, Mystique, and Toad…the latter two having powers more suited to a stripper. I guess he forgot about Sabertooth.

That episode of "The Simpsons" that Borgnine was in is one of my favourites and he's a big reason why. He's a master of the humour of deflation in that.

It was really weird seeing him play a nice guy in "Deliverance", after his villainous roles in "Robocop" and "Total Recall" and the asshole-ish (but not *quite* a villain) character he played on "Star Trek: The Next Generation. Whenever I see him in a movie, he's just one of those guys I always expect to start acting…

Rome O and Julie T. I can't believe this is the first time I ever heard this joke. I love Bender.

Donnie: I always wanted [our first kiss] to be at a time when…when it reminds you how beautiful the world can be.

As usual, for some reason Catwoman only has a great episode when she plays second fiddle to someone else (i.e. Scarface, Batgirl). I wonder if this Catwoman could have starred in an excellent episode on her own, but unfortunately we'll never know.

So…are you guys gonna review the new Spider-Man movie? You usually review big releases like that early, yet that movie has been out for a few days not and this one is still at the top of your reviews page. What gives?

I'm still too appalled by the last season's finale to watch this, but I watched the new opening credits on Youtube and they're cute, so there's that. Not that they're enough to justify this show's continued existence, but I don't think anything can at this point.
