This is a review of the TV show, not the comic.  At some point, I would like to actually read the comic, and see where the two diverged.  Most people who post comic-spoilers are considerate enough to do a little warning in advance.

Liked for "The Stand" reference.  Damn fine post-apocalyptic fiction, that.

Agreed.  And re: Adrea and Michonne, during their standoff, I recall thinking, "These are the two characters in the show that I'm least invested in.  I don't think I care if one kills the other."

Agreed.  Assuming the outbreak happened post 9/11, a really good way to get Americans fired up in a "us vs them" mentality is to say "Terrorism"

Dude.  You gotta be a responsible poster.  Spay and neuter your stray observations.

If you're doing a pretty standard "move bounded and hooded prisoners to a different area" and then BAM!  Explosions! Smoke!  Shouting!  You're going to be confused as hell.  In that confusion, Rick and co grabbed Maggie and Glen.  It's not too hard to suspend your disbelief on that one.

" The glass shard going through the Gov's eye was so fucking cool. This
scene was a defining moment for Michonne and said a lot about her
character."

Maybe it was that scared-looking dude, and he screams like Flanders.

If anything, it would be easier.  His tear-duct just got a hell of alot bigger.
