jesus christ, did he ruin a great McCarthy novel too!?!?!

I think book is definitely better than Nothing.  Nothing is the next best thing.

My favorite book from one of my favorite authors in a D-grade trailer.  So disheartening.  I try not to jump on the wagon for "they can't make a movie out of that!", but truly, these were narrations meant for the medium of book.

ApocalypWhoa

Regarding the band name question: She's probably in the legal wrong there, but honestly, he's perceived a pretty big part of the band name recognition.  Wouldn't blame her for feeling insulted at the thought of him being replaced;  watching every instance of her son comepletely disappear

If it was his wish that she be taken care of, then that should be honored to the fullest.  Like @avclub-997c221538094d134659141cf61d51e3:disqus, I would want the same done for my Mother.

Room for a new guy? I can butt out, honest!

Kiss all your free time goodbye! Once you get to seasons 4-7 you're not going to be thinking about anything else.  I mean, if you are liking it now, you have NO IDEA what's in store for you.  Stay away from the internet/spoilers, and enjoy!

Oh boy do I love Shotgun Stories.  The overall pace didn't bother me, but I'm a pretty patient former southerner.  In the last few years, at least regarding my film queue, I've been pondering a lot on the subject of revenge.  I thought this film to be an especially quiet but poignant statement on violence begetting

I think you can hold off on In Rainbows & King of Limbs for now.

Agree. Too easy for people to knock him today, but seeing Pulp Fiction in the theaters in '94 was incomparable.

well shoot, I've been doing much the same too.

That is honestly enough to prevent me from reading this book

I saw the 2002 Solaris before seeing the original, and sincerely love both.  I think the original is something haunting to marvel at, but I loved the slight emotional warmth, and certainly the visuals, of the remake.  Again, going at it in reverse surely skews my love for it

One of my all time favorites!!! Such a huge influence me when I was younger; I'm so thrilled to see it brought up
