I think 99% of the complaints are about the part you called "mildly unbelievable" — all the Nazis having their guns trained on Hank and Gomie while they stood still with absolutely no cover — and all of them then firing and missing them, until they were able to get to cover.  That part was pretty damn unrealistic.

I don't think splitting is really an option.  There's a hell of a lot of wide open space, and several dudes with machine guns.

Walt vs. the Nazis would be a shitty conclusion.

All the earliest Pigface releases are cool.  Gub, Washingmachinemouth, Fook, Welcome to Mexico… Asshole.  And Notes from Thee Underground had some cool tracks.  Since then, from what I've heard, they're very much a crapshoot.
