I'm just watching an episode of Lucky Louie for the first time, and I think it's fuckin' great.  I always wanted TV shows to step outside their prudish, phony PG13 reality and deal with whatever the fuck they want.  Of course you can say that's exactly what's been happening throughout the progression of television,

I'm surprised, there seems to be nothing but love here for this movie.  I remember it as a steaming heap.

I'm questioning myself, here, but I hated the shit out of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and only ever watched the two episodes that a friend showed me at his apartment one day.  And yet I'm convinced that Louie's a creative, artistic, maybe even important show, and I like watching it even it when it isn't funny.

Ooh, great call on Georgia and Ira.

Dude, Tom Hanks is definitely hopelessly bland.

What are you talking about, there are three or four excellent Beck albums.

It *is* painful.  You are wrong.

Bubbles Wrap, the flashback may have cast the conversation in a different light for Hank, but not for the viewer.  We knew everything we needed to know about that conversation when we saw it the first time.

Where are people getting the idea that we saw Walt look at the inscription earlier this season?  That sounds just as dreamed up as Gretchen's last name being Black.

I can't believe how much people have freaked out about the book inscription.  I didn't have any problem with it, and I've been plenty critical of some of the other writing (e.g. Mike and Gus both being outdone by Walt) as contrivance.

Jumpin' Jack Shit, this conversation is insane.  Gale gave Walt the book, Walt looked at it a bit but didn't notice the inscription.

Listen to what he said, though.  He was frustrated because he realized he could've bullied the list of names out of Lydia, not remorseful because he'd just murdered someone.

"He seems to realize after shooting Mike that he has bitten off way more than he can chew…"  You think the Breaking Bad universe contains more than Walter White can chew?  What's your evidence of this?
