But Mike's failures don't ring true to me.  They just feel like plot devices necessary for letting Walt win.

"because he's Mike and he doesn't fuck around."  But he *does* fuck around when it comes to Walt.  That's why he always loses to him.  He throws half measures at Walt all the time.

Aaaaaand Mike fails to shoot Walt, again.  Gee, I wonder if Walt will fuck him over on the deal.

Ugh.  I can barely watch it.  Mike leaves him a free hand for some reason, and of course he's going to find a way out.

With the last few minutes of this episode left to watch, I declare that, if the show lets Walt unchain himself from that heater and fuck up the buyout deal, I'm gonna have to kick somebody in the balls over it.  Goddamn it, enough of Walt getting his stubborn-ass way all the time.

Oh, Hank ain't never gonna suspect shit about Walt.  Walt could give Marie a necklace made of blue meth crystals and Hank wouldn't think a goddamn thing about it.

Really enjoyable episode.
I don't really share the sense that being the boss has been a grind for Walt, though, as his ideas are all working quite well.
I'm still frustrated by the subordination of Mike.
And, please, somebody shoot Lydia already.

Well, does everyone agree that the Bad Lieutenant remake was total shit?

That's enough of Walt getting away with shit.  Seriously.  That's more than enough of Walt getting away with shit.

GeoGreg "This is why I think he will eventually fall. He believes that the power
he has found allows him to do anything, but only because he is so
inexperienced in being powerful that he doesn't understand his limits."   However, the show is insisting on carrying on as though Walt's power actually does not have any

That's enough of Lydia.  She's an idiot.  Get her off the show.
