i chuckle every time I remember LUMEN CALLING

I'm not going to discount the Hannah thing before we see where it actually starts going. I must have a short memory about the writing on this show, but I feel like they wouldn't have given him another woman-who-knows-the-secret-and-he-fucks unless it was relevant beyond a distraction.

Agree with everyone else. Hannah was sexy enough to keep my eyes somewhat interested, and that last scene with the kill table fucking had my rolling on the floor, but aside from that I kept doing other things and half watching.

Season 4 was good in spite of the writing, IMO, carried by Lithgow's performance.

Honestly I think a version of this show centering around Capone and / or Luciano would have been infinitely more interesting.

Yea, that type of shit bothers me about this show.

The idea that the FBI would magically send over the ACTUAL EVIDENCE of the Bay Harbor Butcher case because a local police station asked for it seems so utterly absurd. Just like her being the one to find that slide in the first place.

I'm bipolar, and her smile was like looking in a mirror (when I'm on the edge of stability, obviously). It was like… "I KNOW that look."

Maybe it ends with Dexter being executed, Deb hating him and losing her job, and Harrison being sent into foster care. But then… we're back in the cabin with Doakes, and Dexter begins to talk about how he has seen what the future holds if he continues down his path… so he kills himself.

Yea, Dexter I was going to quit at the end of last season until they FINALLY had that giant cliffhanger. So now I HAVE to watch it just to see how the writers botch that one too, then I can finally quit that show before it takes me with it on its trip through the plumbing system.

Seriously. Dude is clearly going to be a problem, and throwing those kind of insults is just the excuse needed to solve the problem before it's a problem.
