The problem with Only By The Night is that the first two songs are fucking amazing, and then the rest of the album just sounds half-assed by comparison.

It's all worth it. Listening to the 80s stuff just makes me appreciate his early stuff more, and it allowed him to stage a comeback. Plus, it was the 80s—fuck do you expect?

I just watched Anti-Christ a few weeks back and it was actually pretty awesome. Besides the gross shit (like Defoe's sack), there's actually a lot of cool parts that have stuck with me. The final shot is pretty memorable, and even though it was kind of dumb, I enjoyed the fox letting us know that "chaos reigns".

So… Tea Leoni is starring in a sexy movie about the Rape of Nanking with Lou Ferrigno? Is that what O'Neal is suggesting? Is that what we're supposed to be deciphering?? This shit is so Rubicon.

If they are treating these characters like actual entities, then shouldn't the children of the Simpson's be considered twenty something years old (or however long the show's been on), and now just continuing to portray pre-teen children?

Yeah I think it does have to do with the pacing and the way the movie is split up into like seven or eight chapters. On paper this should be a movie that I watched once, liked, and then never saw again; but it keeps me coming back. I've literally watched it back to back in one sitting.
