Johnny was just so in love with Chris. Forgiving the puff pastry and the non-French dish? Ugh.

Oh yeah, just read that. Somehow, I am not surprised.
Well, I guess in my mind she's the kind of (almost) 22 year old who can't pass for 16. Maybe because they try so hard to dress her "young" in the show. It looks weird.
Shoulda been Sally. Would have been too if it hadn't been for sourpuss Iuzzini who could not get over that she gave her sous-chef the task he is best at! Point to Danielle K. for pointing that out, but it clearly was not enough. I guess being head judge means business.
I was just going to point that out. He can yak about them if he wants. Matthew's kid, however, is perfectly healthy and therefore fair game!
I'll rephrase. She looks too old and he looks too young.
"But if this helps the show avoid scenes like the one at the beginning between George and Dallas…" I think you mean George and Tessa. And damn, I'm glad I'm not the only one whose incest-o-meter went off like crazy. She is too old and he is too young for them to be father/daughter.
She hasn't aged a day, apparently. At first, I thought the blonde chick from Pretty Little Liars was her.
Dammit! I've missed ALL the cameos so far. I am ashamed.
It was Amanda Walsh, I believe.
Thanks for defending me. I really wanted that damn apostrophe.
Point taken.
I really think this show has improved from the so-so pilot and you've hit the nail right on the head. Its heart really makes it a stand out for ABC Family, not to mention far superior to Pretty Little Liars, whose characters, I've recently realized, I really don't give much of a shit about (agreed that Switched at…
Is it weird that I feel less guilty about watching this show because the AV Club covers it?
I kind of enjoy this show. I just wish they weren't trying to make me believe Bilson is some kind of super-genius surgeon.
I think you're being a little generous here. Only the Tanya sketch made me laugh and Faris did shine in it. But that was pretty much it. I felt she was kinda sleepwalking through the whole thing.
The sheen wore off long ago. I'll stop watching any day now. Any day now…
I was just gonna say, all the music before the strings cue is from Psycho as well. A good example of what Todd referred to as a "bad homage". Total overkill indeed, especially after last week's Herrmann reference.
I knew I could count on you to explain each character's role in the group based on each timeline.
Although both Karine Vanasse and Caroline Dhavernas hail from Montreal, not France. Fun fact!
