So, in "Family Ties" we see a dot matrix printer very slowly printing out the screen with Nellie's phone number on it, and then later, there's a dot-matrix-printed banner that reads "Workers love Nellie". Is this perhaps a subtle way of showing us how the Bluth family's constant omission of connecting words on banners…

It also ties in with Richard Shaw's line about having plenty of time in prison to eat ice cream… sandwiches, which is something, despite having watched the episode probably five times or so, I only caught now, reading the review.
