It's a 3 hour long podcast starring a guy who plays a crank who fields phone calls from listeners that he likes to hang up on except for the other guy who calls in character to slowly develop a completely insane story over 45 minutes before he maybe dies on the phone and like the host isn't actually

When I saw it, Groff waved flirtatiously to Leslie Odom Jr. after this song (I think), and Leslie alllllllllmost broke. It was such a fun moment.

"When you knock me down I consult the counseling department and RESPECTFULLY GET BACK UP AGAIN!"

"The Room Where It Happens" is a lot of fun to blast in the car. So is "Right Hand Man" and "The Battle of Yorktown" because "HERCULES MULLIGAN!!!!"

I think it's worth a shot because it's so energetic, concise, and clever. It's a little cheesy (it is a musical after all), but the opening number, according to Ron Chernow (Hamilton's biographer), accurately covers the first 3 chapters of his book in 4 minutes. It's super-dense, which rewards re-listening, and

I saw it at The Public (brag brag brag brag), and there are dozens of small moments the album misses because, well, visuals. Peggy's attention seeking, Jefferson's full-blown arrogance, and Madison acting as a lap dog are all magnified and hilarious. I hope that it is filmed because those moments add so much depth
