I feel like that's the source of the humor. Three characters who are varying degree of friends (Worf & Bashir not so much, but both are mutually cool with Miles), getting worked up over something that affects them only tangentially, yadda yadda yadda, holding cell!

"Strong men also cry…strong men also cry…"

From now on in our comments, I shall refer to The Sisko as "Lawgiver."

Hell, some of this shows best eps would be hilarious with this approach…

Damn Disqus! This was supposed to be part of one of the ENT discussions…

@avclub-bd847fd835b2c6025557898b6aff7b2d:disqus I couldn't find a link, but I recall reading about a Trek novel alt-timeline where the Cardassians manage to hold onto Bajor for another decade. They find the wormhole, keep it a secret, secretly join the Dominion…and from there things start playing out pretty close to

I think one of the bigger missed story ideas on ENT, were the handful of hints we got throughout the series of the actual (non-Temporal) cold war between Vulcan & Andor. Several of the better episodes clearly show that the Vulcans have been spending decades (centuries?) playing a role one could describe as aloof

"True. The end of most episodes in this series wasn't really a "win" for the home team. All they managed to do was not lose completely."

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus You're not wrong about the character…but don't let that stop you from trying BSG. He's slimy alright, but delightfully slimy! Basically if you combined Bashier, Garak & Rep. Paul Ryan, you would have an idea of Dr. Baltar.

All the while the Romulans natural isolationism causes them to pull further away from their

The difference is that there wasn't one scene of a single character casually enjoying a quality cigar after a long week. (In a very accurate portrayal of the time) Almost every character is spending every spare moment lighting up a stick that contains some natural forms of tobacco & tons of other artificial

Homer: They're fine.

"Sisko might be grateful that he can go back, but Jesus, look at the cost—Jake ruined his whole life, then ended it right in front of him."
