Interstellar?

Reed Diamond is the best. One of the few great characters in this show.

sometimes, they return even if their body is shown

Yeah, it's not entirely clear who these people are or why I should care before the main character starts running for her life. It'd have been better to take it slower and have a double-length premiere or something.

Gotham's not on CW…

Gotham's actually gotten far better since it accepted the campiness inherent to the setting/characters.

Some people do refer to themselves as "people of color", but only in the context of discussing their experience as a non-white person (and thus not having the advantages brought by white privilege). I wouldn't really say they identify as just "people of color" though.

This isn't Glee; the fact that the character is gay is not the center of every storyline. He's just a guy that happens to be gay.

It's not a huge plot point, just a quick one-off reference that's easy to miss.

"Why do I care that Troy and Abed are stealing Jeff's Netflix, for
example? Should he really care? That's not really saying anything about
the characters."

Exclamation points!

*preying

I think he just confused Fara and Mira (Saul's wife).

Keeping Javadi in custody is beneficial, sure, but it's nothing compared to Saul's hope of sustained peace and cooperation with Iran. (It may be naive, but if it did pan out, it'd be way better.)

Sometimes the show *is* really good. The acting is often great, even if the writing leaves something to be desired. This episode wasn't amazing character-wise (though Azizi, the Alpha team leader, was great), but it was tense.

"I actually did love the nameless operatives who get Brody to the
border—the first, who loses a leg in trying to get Brody to talk about
his childhood, and the second, executed without fanfare in an Iranian
cell."

I… don't really see the resemblance.

The problem is that I'm pretty sure they are going for exactly that.
