I have a friend who's go to review of all television is "It's not as good as Breaking Bad."  He doesn't seem to understand that nothing is ever going to live up to that standard.  You have to move the goal posts a bit.

That depends on how you spin it.  You're so cool that you'll watch the popular shows when you're good and ready.  Of course, having a pink pony have to explain why you are cool does not do you any favors.

I've only seen the first season, and I thought it was pretty good.  It borrowed pretty heavy from all sorts of horror, and that "borrowing" came awfully close to parroting at time (oh look, she's getting raped by the devil, possibly), but it still had a slightly original feel.
