Yeah, it just seems absurd not to include B5. Unlike some of the examples on this list, which are really just updates to reflect cast changes, B5's credit sequences were an integral part of the storytelling itself, setting the stage for each new "book" of the series (similar to "The Wire's" credit sequence).

Seconded, thirded, and fourthed. I was astonished that they somehow left that off.

Depends on what you're looking for. I personally far prefer single-person commentaries by writers or directors, because they tend to stay focused on the specifics of the process and the craft. (As opposed to cast commentaries, which usually degenerate into in-joking and "remember how cold it was on that day?" etc.)

I'd assume the meaning is that incident was "recent" at the time of the rallies…

Great interview. But you guys should really get Albini to come back again and limit the question to "Song you hate most in the world THAT YOU PRODUCED." 'Cause he's got a lot of them.

Yeah, as much as I always think of Steve Albini as "the guy who talks shit on everyone and everything," I don't think I've ever read a single one of his rants that wasn't insightful and well-argued.

I must admit that the first thing I thought when I saw that header was:
"Uncle Gob, was Aunt Lindsay ever pregnant?"
"Yeah, sure, dozens of times."

Ha ha, I scrolled down to the comments before finishing the review just to see if anyone else had called out the fact that it was NEWARK Penn Station, not NY.

The length of copyright protection keeps getting extended incrementally, mostly due lobbying by media companies, especially Disney. (Seriously: if you look into it, you'll find that the law gets changed every time Mickey Mouse is about to fall into the public domain.) Pretty sure it's close to a hundred years for

Was that revisiting the subject of an AV Club article, or just a personal re-watch? Would be very interested to read your appraisal… granted, it's probably been 20 years since I've seen either of those films, but the way I remember it, "Menace" was far and away superior to "Boyz." What am I getting wrong?
