Grace reminded me of Pretty Girl from American Horror Story for a bit there.

Maime Gummer is seriously the worst.

K I need to remember where it was

Maybe they knew but did not care to tell the family?

Carrie is way more interesting than crybaby Fara but I agree about the Brody plus Carrie storylines (ie the romance angle)

Usually I dislike the hot-hacker-chick trope but I actually enjoyed the first episode's use of Skye. It was a surprise to see her display intelligence and quippy-nesss. I hope they don't kill her character's charm - I thought she was a bit banal this episode.

My eyes are bleeding after checking out that site. Boo to sycophants. Hahaha I actually had one reader ream me out for not being fair to the writers. Seriously?

My fears of overt romance plotting have been assuaged I think, and I did enjoy watching the main character do his thing (he's not bad on the eyes either) and the premise of it.

I just re-watched season 2, the episode where Doakes catches Dexter, and it is glorious.

Well thank you to everyone who responded! I genuinely appreciate the feedback (I got trolled into obtaining NCIS once and now I am a little hesitant to splurge). I'll catch up in the next couple of weeks and I'll see you all back here soon :)

Is this a show that people hate-watch or did it genuinely turn good? I tuned in for a few episodes but then I was thrown off by a romantic subplot (IIRC) but now I want to like it again. Bandwidth is expensive here so I thought I would ask, the grades seem promising. Is it a show that takes a bit to get into or do you

I want to like it but the LadyBlackCop's accent is like nails on a chalkboard for some reason - do people really speak like this? Oh well at least she has lines, unlike AnonymousBlackLadyCop from Dexter. It's horrible to say because I like her character but…yeah, that accent.

Oh god I did the same thing - I would have saved myself some pain if I had just scrolled down to your comment first!

I speculated the same thing on the Homeland forums, I did. Uh-oh, double whammy!

"I honestly think she fetishizes insanity" - nice touch!

@BeyondCaring (Yikes, wall of writing here, but this got me thinking…..)

Flagos sounds like a dirty word to me…Like spanking someone while doing them in the behind. Just thought I would share, you are all welcome.

If you read the comments you will find many, many examples of how it is being misrepresented by people who seem to have first hand knowledge, no need to rehash them here.
Perhaps it is offensive but that is not the point I was making at all, nor was I talking about the Middle East being criticized, just misrepresented..

Were the JWs black or something?

2) Dexter abandoned his son and killed many animals
