Dude I need my "Sweet Emotion" fix.

I feel like I really fucked up with this album. I made a point to go out to a actual record store first thing Friday morning to pick up the album, but decided I'd wait till later this week when I'd have some days off to fully immerse myself in it, and instead decided to spend the weekend re-spinning The Postal

That wig should be in the Smithsonian along with that legendary codpiece.

Lou death was incredibly sad, but it just doesn't compare to this (not that it should it's not a contest). But the difference for me, with Lou is I knew he was sick and didn't have much longer, with Bowie everything seemed to point to him being in relatively good health and continuing on this new chapter of his life.

"Heroes" is like #1 on a list of songs I just can't do right now.
other notables:
"After All" "The Belway Brothers" "Five Years"
"Rock n' Roll Suicide" "We Are the Dead" "Win"
"Can You Hear Me?" "Wild Is the Wind" "Absolute Beginners"
"As the World Falls Down" "Strangers When We Meet" "Bring Me the Disco King" "Heathen

I stole my dad's copy of Changesbowie and just branched off from there. You'll be better off getting a copy of The Man Who Sold the World or Hunky Dory and just go forward from there. It's not an overstatement to say there's a Bowie album for everybody.

I decided to listen to the 2003 version of Rebel Rebel, a bonus track off Reality, not a high mark of his career at all, but theres a certain wistfulness and weariness to that version that seemed appropriate. Let's just say a good cry was had.

I can honestly say Bowie saved my life in high school. Growing up a weird outsider in a shitty town, his work opened worlds to me, and made feel no so alone. Hurts to know he's not here anymore.

It really feels like music will never be the same. The world just become phenomenally shittier.

No-no fuck everything. This can’t happen.
Fuck you world. Fuck you cancer.

Looks like you think you're a pretty good skier, huh, kid? How about a race from the summit!

Glad to see she wants to be a positive example, after her Anaconda song/video set women in hip-hop back about 15 years.

Kind of amazing how soon everybody forgot about that. I wonder if the public will be so easy to forgive once the hits dry up.

Lot of bitter Daily Show fans in these comments.

Fitting end to a very good season. Much better finale than last season, still felt a bit rushed hopefully it'll make sense upon further re-watch.

I love that song, one of their more underated singles.

Damn, just awful he was one those people I was always holding out hope he'd would get clean and pull it together. Fuck, man.

Ah so it does, should of done a second read through

No love for Wayne Smith's "Under Me Sleng Teng"? That's a essential riddim.

Ugh.
