Peter is definitely not an infallible character and that's the point, he's not sure of anything right now. His questioning whether he's projecting onto Olivia or not might be frustrating, but it's perfectly reasonable. Notice how he didn't say this wasn't his Olivia, but he also admitted the best course of action is

Sacrilege or not, I agree with you. I'm not feeling this season. The emotional disconnect I feel for Walter and Olivia is too great to get lost in the story. The writers are filling the deep emotional void that is this season with shocking twists and revelations, but they are meaningless to me, because I don't have

This is not the Peter Season. It was something the producers said at first to string the fans along, but in one of their latest interviews they said clarified they are not going to focus on him or give him more screentime, the Season of Peter thing was misdirection.

I thought that with "And Those We've Left Behind" they had stopped giving us the Lincoln and Olivia show, but unfortunately I was wrong. Peter's role has been reduced to a minimum to justify Josh Jackson's paycheck and Lincoln has taken over as lead. I'm sorely disappointed in the writers.

You are right, because when she mentioned he appeared to her in dreams, he said "this is where I'm supposed to be", but then he changed his mind after she confessed she didn't feel anything.

Exactly. I don't know what the point of the Peter-less episodes were, other than to undermine his importance. He's back and there is nothing to fix, he has no connections in this universe and he's been replaced in every single way.

It's not just Joshua Jackson. My favorite part of the show was the father/son dynamic, it was the heart of Fringe and it gave it a warmth that set it apart from other shows.

You're right, the show needs a miracle and I don't think it will happen.

The ratings were up a point last night. I don't think it's coincidence, this was a Walter-centric episode and they are promoting Peter's soon return, whatever they understand by soon. They obviously freaked out and released that promo, after last week's dismal ratings. More Walter please and I really hope they do as

What happened to the Olivia from last week? In the span of one episode
she went from cold, hard and slightly slow to highly competent, warm and
full of smiles. What changed between then and now? That's some
inconsistent characterization. It is sad that I'm starting to be more
interested in the cases and guest

In a world without Peter, Olivia is in urgent need of a defibrillator,
Walter is in need of more drugs, Fauxlivia is still in need of nuance. I
don't think Lincoln's introduction to the Fringe world was well
handled. Too soon and too on the nose. This move would have made me
dislike him as much as I disliked Agent
