Greenwood is definitely NOT a more interesting lead actress or even secondary actress. Her increased presence this season has annoyed me to no end. Nicole acts circles, no, entire Jupiter-sized orbits around Greenwood.

I am shocked by the amount of crap this finale has delivered. Totally overwhelmed by the cow manure.

I found this hour a mediocre effort at best. I'm also sorry to say that Jenny and Joe bore me to tears. They are not as bad as Crane and Katrina, or any other of his love interests for that matter, but I still find Joe and Jenny lacking. I don't understand why they thought this romance necessary, but since they put it

"I’m annoyed that the show is once against splitting up its two leads,
and robbing us of the chemistry that makes the rest of the nonsense
generally watchable."

Understandably. She opened up to Crane last season and ended up badly burned. She's also keeping secrets from her sister, which is clearly weighing her down.

Exactly. They used rape as plot device for manpain, which probably will eventually lead to Theon's character development. Disgusting.

Can I be hopeful now that the witch will never come back to ruin the show or is too much to ask?

I don't want her to come back either.

" Instead, it’s a moderate relief, because it most likely means that Katrina won’t be on the show for that much longer." I hope you're right, because I can't stand that horrible character and actress any longer. As long as she stays, the writers will try to shoehorn her in the plot, when there are far more interesting

No episode focused on Katrina will ever be good. The evil Katrina tease comes too late and I don't think it's being handled well either. I'm sick of this awful and useless character.

What an awful episode! It only managed to highlight how not compelling Ichabod is. Team Abbie, the only thing worth watching, should have been the A plot, not the B plot.

Ugh, this show has gone off the rails so hard, it's amazing, but that's what happens, when writers and showrunners focus their best efforts on their weakest characters. Katrina is a stupefying horrible character, with the screen presence of a dead jellyfish and yet, there she is. They made her the center of the entire

I'd readily give up Crane as well. He sucks as a Witness.

This show has become an unwatchable mess. It's not even fun to hate watch. All I want is to tell Abbie to dump her useless co-witness and team up with her sister. The Cranes are the dullest family ever.

Agreed! He has not earned that deference, considering his priority is his family and not Abbie and the fight to prevent the Apocalypse. It felt like the show was telling me Abbie is the lesser Witness and that her family's sacrifices weren't worth anything.

Best episode of the show, tbh.

The only way this episode could have better is if the Cranes had been completely absent. The Mills sisters, the entire Mills family, have been more kickass and and better fighters than the entire Crane clan.

I don't understand the complaint about Abbie having a personal connection with the case of the week, while you fail to complain about Ichabod's personal connection to every important historical figure during the revolution and how he was key in every important historical moment, which is revealed in almost every

Not too early. It is a mistake, just like Katrina and everything about her, Irving having a separate storyline and Hawley taking over Jenny's role. There's more, but those are the most egregious ones.

Dull is Katrina's surname.
