"Milhouse Doesn't Live Here Anymore" from Season 15 and classics like "Lisa on Ice" still does a better job showing the relationship between Bart and Lisa. I wish they taken a page from those script. This felt rushed, the ending doesn't have the same satisfaction as the two episodes noted above.

What about Halloween of Horror?

I gave 'Halloween of Horror' an A and I'll give this one an A-.
Yeah I can't see how this can be below a B. 'Puffless' is C and I cannot see how 'Barthood' be in the same category as 'Puffless' which was just a generic Simpsons episode.

I think it is for the newer and younger audience. I am no longer 8 so obviously it no longer works with me. But I really like her character from Halloween of Horror, she appears vulnerable which make her more relateable and kind of adorable in a way, more of that too please.

I thought she showed the opposite in this episode. She does not want Homer's feeling hurt by ditching the bike her dad built for her, she is obviously being bullied but does not want to fight the bully but tries to get away from her instead, and dislike animal cruelty (A cruel of way killing turtle is to put them on

I want to see more of that fat German/Belgium chocolate boy.

Well, a lot of people relate to Lisa because they don't make a lot of friends too. I guess that part of her character is deliberate to make certain audience connect with the show. It worked with me when I was growing up and was 8 years old at the time, but I disliked her tendency to be self-righteous and "shouty".

You sound like Homer

It seems like every 2nd episode is good and the rest are mediocre.

They are still hand-drawn as far as I know.

-"Too often the animation and direction gets overlooked on The Simpsons, so I’ll just say that this is an exceptionally directed (by Mike B. Anderson) and beautifully animated episode of television. (Homer and Lisa’s panicked scramble on the stairs is especially precise and hilarious, and the switch to “handheld” as

They're not since the plot for next week's episode is already revealed. Sideshow Bob finally kills Bart and kids get superpowers, something like that.

Well the rest of us don't think it was a Season 12-13 quality episode. This episode would fit in with the classics just as well.

Yea Ralph's line was disturbing but it cracks me up because I was not expecting him to say that. Genius!

I always wanted more Lisa/Bart episodes since 'Milhouse Doesn't Live Here Anymore' from Season 15. More of that please. Cue Detective was not bad at all. Homer/Lisa episodes are always adorable.

The visuals in this episode is really nice. Good use of colour and tone. But I bet naysayer will come and say "Oh the lines looks too clean", "Oh it is too colourful", "Oh they have less facial expression" (no it does not), "Oh I prefer the old look of classic Simpsons with ugly film grain because it looks more like a
