But Wait! She-Woman-Cat-Type-Thing has saved the day by chewing off a piece of mangy fur and retching on it!

I love Roald Dahl's books so much…and another vote for The Twits. It has stuff to say about inner character being more important than looks, it has squiggly spaghetti, it's fantastic. In second place: all of his other books. Anyone with a child should get the whole catalogue for them.

I watched this film some time ago on the recommendation of this site. It seems that most of the clientele here love it but I hated it. I tried to watch it and get into it more than once and found it painfully unwatchable. It just seems so contrived and pretentious. I'm with ZMF.

I discovered these series on DVD about a year ago and I love them both so much. The initial schools like series was like a flashback to watching this stuff at school in the uk in the 70s/80s and the second one was just like family viewing on the BBC in the evenings of my childhood, I loved the contrast of the

Sometimes you have to admit that you like a movie even when you're not sure which way the hipster douchebag barometer is pointing… I love American Beauty.

Mudhoey are an awesome band. Seen them 4 times live and they have always kicked some serious ass. However their albums are showing diminishing returns to a woeful degree. The finest grunge in the world has recently become bluesrock with Mark Arm. Shame.

Bless the new(ish) comment feature!
Up got a pretty negative reception at the time. It seemed some people couldn't forgive the drum machine, when it appeared, for not being Berry. This review is spot on, and this album is a sublime REM album that works from start to end.

I love this film so much. I'm going to have to watch it again soon now. Also: I don't care if Trey Parker has "pretty much disowned it". I hear that Mike Judge tries to rip on Beavis and Butthead nowadays, but that show is still 1000 shades of awesome too so they can both be wrong about their old products together.

Interesting guy
I watched the last quarter of Hostel on fast forward just to see who lived at the end, I never realised prolonged, realistic torture could be so dull. Roth's talk here is a lot more interesting than his film was.

Mudhoney Love
Not just another Mudhoney reference, but an embedded video sharing the godliness with us all! Thank you! x x x
