Lone Audience, I agree with you. Best comedy in many years. I laughed so hard in the theater that whenever people ask me what my favorite movie is, i always flash back to that 2 hours of my life and stammer, "well, you know, i really love Bad Santa". And I'm a pretty hardcore movie geek, so I can go on and on about my

oh wow
RIP Luann Platter? That blows goats.

2001 World Series, I worked at a pizza place (The Mellow Mushroom) and we'd all get off work in time to catch big chunks of each game. Watching the Yankees (especially Rivera) melt down while Schilling and Johnson proved they were as dominant as ever- the bloody sock, of course- was a thrilling event, even to a

@Fiya Power: You're wrong. Can't think of anything funny here, you're just wrong. If you thought Amy Adams saved that film, I applaud your taste in women, but that doesn't make you any less wrong.

Elitist Trash, I was aghast to see that credit on IMDB. I guess he pulled a Krusty on that one.

Oh God Yes. Good call.

They spent 200 million on that loud orgy of bad and worse and I rented it for a dollar from one of those movie boxes at the drugstore. It was still facepalm bad, and fuck you michael bay wherever you are, but i chuckled all the way through it because it was just a buck. (except for the parts with the jivebots… i

No Night At The Museum 2?
You're under fuckin' arrest.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned…
Jesus's Holy Hand Grenades Of Antioch.

Meh.
He's no Ike Turner.

HOLY CRAP the Metolaocalypse episode was awesome.

Yeah, okay, I'll give you that. It's just that 24 laid down the law at the top, so I figured that even in his fragile state of mind, 21 would play by the rules.

pickin' at some nits over here
If a ghost can only appear to a person they were close to in life, how did Speedy and Woodrow Wilson materialize before 21? Does 24 have a lot of pull in the afterlife?

Massive treasure chest of Playboys and Mad magazines at some neighborhood dude's house when I was 11. Every time I hear "Elvira" I'm reminded of it, since that was on the radio when he opened up that chest.

Benders: You're all going to hell

You know what, on re-reading your review, I take it back. You did cover the whole thing and I'm just a bit far into my toddy tonight. Well done.

Interesting. I'm surprised, though, that you don't wait til the whole thing's been shown (it would have only been 24 hours), then do a more definitive review. Either way, i disagree with your review (review review review), but respect your take on it. I thought it was a pretty good 're-imagining' (HURL) of the story.

"That's why they dropped him from Spy Kids"?

Oh wait, they also reviewed the new Twilight movie so i guess I take it back. They just review everything. Oh well. I'm back in heart with you, AVC.

Why is the AVC wasting it's time reviewing this pile? Did anyone see the trailer on TV and think it was anything other than terrible? I wouldn't take my 7 year-old to see this in a million years (because I want him to grow up to be smart), and I didn't need a fancy-pants review to help me form that opinion.
