World Without End
I'm not reading through 5 pages of comments to see if someone has already mentioned one book. Ken Follett's follow-up to Pillars Of The Earth was a great read.

Agreed on American Gods.

I might be the first to bring this up?
Quagmire's kid looked Asian. Which would tie into an awful lot of old gags. Suffice to say, Glenn loves him some hog-tied chinese bitches.

Well Liquor (my favorite kind just before payday), like most things, music is subjective. People get defensive about their favorite acts. If you were to say something like that about RUSH (and I know I'm inviting it by saying that), I'd be the first to call you a fucking moron. As it is, i have no dog in this hunt. I

Meh. They're no Black-Eyed Peas…

not a bad show at all, but…
I couldn't believe that JGL sang in, like, the first 752 sketches he was in. When the Thanksgiving dinner sketch rolled around, i thought to my(lonely, lonely)self, "haha, will he sing in this one, too?".

where's the vomit guy when we need him…

A few weeks ago the network made all the shows do a Halloween theme, with varying degrees of success. (Community knocked that one out of the park)

it wasn't terrible. it was actually pretty okay. but no, it wasn't worthy of being mentioned here. oooo but i mentioned it. DAMN.

I'm horrified by my own stupidity, but at least i got a big chuckle at your comments out of it. sorry about the mistake.

and yes, i got the reference. just so you know i don't live in a cave.

I just googled "Yahoo Serious Festival", and the first hit took me to a clip from Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas special. We're down the rabbit hole now, people…

No Decemberists?
Would have been nice to see the Decemberists mentioned. The Hazards Of Love continues to blow my mind all over the fantastical wooded place. They're like a palatable Arcade Fire.

I saw Mitch in 2005 at the Punch Line in Atlanta. He knocked his drink off his stool onto a guy in the front row, who laughed and promptly gave Mitch his own drink. He said, "I gotta spill my drinks on folks more often!", without missing a beat. RIP buddy.

and don't you forget it
I loved this episode. Poor 21. Season 3 has been great so far.

the best Swayze film
Next Of Kin.

on-the-mark review, but…
"comedially"?

sucked dry and floating away
Why?! WHY did someone have to bring up Strange Invaders? (and thank you sparkle75 for knowing the title. i wouldn't have been able to sleep)
