Favorite episodes, no question. I never cared for Hope Davis, but after Synecdoche, New York and this, I'm a fan of hers for life. In order of favorites:

Different Film Stock?
I watch this show on HD, and it seemed much grainier with this episode — am I the only one who thought this? It distracted me in the beginning, but then I got used to it. Also, there were some funny lighting going on, like shining a soft spotlight on House every so often, I suppose to show the

Dark Episode, and I Don't Mean the Subject Matter
Was it just me or did they leave all the lights off in this episode? I know they were going for mood, but it was kinda funny. Like they were trying to go green or something, or it was filmed during WWII so the hospital wouldn't get bombed by the Germans.

Been There, Done That.
I guess the show is indeed showing its age, as we've been down this road much taken before: House of no Pain is no diagnostic match for House of Pain (remember those Irish rappers? Jump Around!). And not a trace of Cameron or Chase. It's funny — not that I'm comparing House to the drek that

Two Things
1) I found it funny that Ben, yet again, gets to be #2. When Jack gets to talk to Ms. Hawking, you get the same feeling that Ben went through with Locke and Jacob. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
