Have you all heard the fake Kingdom Hearts "Frozen level music"? Ugh, so perfect!

Sadly, the rest of Spectre suffered greatly from never being able to top that amazing opening sequence
I agree with everything in this review - which is also why I tend to avoid this particular episode on rewatches. Hits too cloes to home.
One of the most fabulously homo-erotic moments of my childhood!
Maybe that's why he came across as such a joke.
"Red Tornado failed and so did you - you're fired!"
Two minutes into this episode, Alex spends two seconds looking at something that amount to a fan spray painted black, and utters "I've never seen tech like this before. It's definitely from earth, but incredibly advanced!"
Are we not reviewing Diane's statement necklaces any more?
Won't she just think the whole thing sounds incredibly silly?
I was certain his skin would turn completely purple, like in the comics, after the intense drugs had worked their way into his system in the previous episode. Probably for the better that they didn't go down that route.
Rosario Dawson is such a gift. She'll also guest on Luke Cage… Hopefully in a larger capacity than here. There's not lot of details on the wiki yet.
Seconded. Thank you so much for creating a space for us to discuss and share while our memories of JJ are still fresh!
I'm hoping Jessica will play a huge part in Luke's show, and that the IGH stuff is either setup for that or the Defenders show that's coming down the line.
The camera lingered on Jessica just half a second too long for me to blown away by the surprise, but yeah, that was a ridiculously cool move!
Try knocking on your walls. Over half of them are probably thinner than your doors, if your apartment is anything like the ones in Copenhagen or this version of New York.
I made another observation sort of related to yours (maybe):
Imagine if Kilgrave got control of the heroes of the movieverse. They're too powerful or influential to risk being anywhere near him. I mean, Jessica herself is probably too powerful, which is part of the reason why he's so fascinated by her.
I got so confused back when Hogarth was saved from the 1000 cuts by her secretary. Because there was no close-up, and all the characters were scattered across NY, I thought Trish somehow found them and hit Wendy, because the Trish is also a fit blonde… also I had completely forgotten about the cast of Carrie…
Sadly true.
She's the perfect mix of lipstick lesbian and fabulous cold-hearted Baranski lawyer. I've been conditioned by many years of quality cable tv to be into her.
The moral dilemma of whether or not Jessica should try to reform Kilgrave truly had me stumped. Maybe it was because I had spent X hours watching the other episodes before this one, but honestly, his skillset could be truly useful - and with all the death left in the wake of Jessica's methods, I could see how her self…
It's probably not a huge deal now, but I love the fact that one of the most recognizable black comic book heroes' power is defined as having "unbreakable skin".
That must've been so powerful back when he was created.
