Look, the season isn't as awful as you people are claiming. The writers, I suppose, decided to take the show in a certain direction, and some people will like it some people won't. The show has certainly tweaked its formula quite a bit over the years, and so complaints about the episode should not be framed as

I'm actually not concerned at the questionable quality of this episode. Seems to me this was just the necessary tying of loose ends before the whole idea of the new team is dropped for good. One episode had to eliminate everything people hated about the latest season: House and Cuddy's

In Response To Severe Misinterpretation
The scene with music box was put in there for a reason! It was not the fucking case of the week. It was intentionally illogical. The whole episode was about House rejecting his need to solve everything. It was about him surrendering to experience and unpredictability. The
