Pete made an excellent choice. I'm not sure if "Summerbaby" is my favorite song (it's up there, though — I have listened to the Polaris soundtrack many many times), but this is probably my favorite Pete & Pete episode.

But didn't they probably have to cut some stuff they already animated to put that bit in?

I think there must have been a deleted scene that showed the making out; it's too weird for them to just throw that line in there otherwise. Maybe if we had seen it we would understand how it fits together with the SSA thing. (And thanks, Big Love, for giving us such a useful acronym.)

I didn't get around to watching this episode until last night but I TOTALLY was thinking of Jim Gaffigan when that guy did his mumbled asides.
