Thing is, "Boomers" applies to people in their 70s and people in their late 40s.  They should have split the "Boomer" tag into two - Early Boomers and Late Boomers.  I say this as a disgruntled 49 year old.

I felt a heck of a lot of suicide harbingers hitting me over the head.  Naming the episode after one of Sylvia Plath's most famous poems, Pete's reference to suicide as part of his insurance plan, the obvious obvious obvious shaft….I don't really want to see someone literally fall out the window, a la the credits.

We saw this in school (get off my lawn) - it blew our minds.  Cooler even than Hemo the Magnificent or Donald Duck in Mathemagic Land.

No one ever mentions Prick Up Your Ears, and it's such a terrific film.

Not to be a pedant, but I think it was a different "c" word Dabney used.  Show him your See You Next Tuesday.  Lift up your dress, etc.

The brain eating was reminiscent of whatever the sequel to Silence of the Lambs was called.  You know; Julianne Moore was in the movie.

Get the BBC DVDs of the original series, starring Helen Mirren.  You won't be sorry.

Could the little girl have Spanish flu?  It recalled Nucky's tragedy to me - the loss of his child and dead wife.

I'm Chevy Chase, and you're wrong.

From the National Creamsicle Day Website:  Even though the origin of National Creamsicle Day is not known, the invention of the creamsicle is documented. This frozen dessert was invented by Frank Eppperson in 1905, who was successful in his experiment of enclosing vanilla ice cream with a layer of frozen fruit juice
