I'd definitely recommend picking up Vampire Diaries— either skip or don't put too much stock in the first 8 episodes in season 1. After about halfway thru season 1 it becomes pure, awesome, fun, smart (and sexy) supernatural trash.

I'm still trying to grasp, if it was "Mama Original" in the coffin— why would the dead witch powers-that-be want her out? And honestly, when she said "I forgive you. Let's be a family!" I felt totally let down. This better end up somewhere good and not with Mama Original acting like a mom.
