That is also my guess!

I really appreciate this review, I thought Rowan did a nice job. That said— I really wish they'd also publish a review from Carrie because it was such an emotional and critical episode that I want to hear what she thinks about it! (I didn't realize I was so attached to my regular reviewer!)

I was wondering the same thing. Also, if it's based on gratitude, did some part of Elena actually want to be a vampire?

I liked that line too. Easy mix-up tho, musicians in mystic falls must play at least one funeral per day.

Agree. I'd love for her and Caroline to take control and call the shots for once.

Klaus did a better job at first. Remember when he was introduced with a whole team of vampires guarding him and he "borrowed" Alaric's body? That was such a fantastic intro to Klaus as a villain. He's really been "de-fanged" since then.

Why won't Klaus just be nice to his sister? I don't get that at all.

That would be a fantastic twist.

Pretty much every bad thing Damon has done has been forgotten/forgiven. They barely ever reference how he killed Jeremy and Alaric (more than once? I can't remember) and Lexi and Uncle whatshisname (wait, were there two different uncles he killed? Zak AND Tyler's uncle Mason?) and of course his compelling of Caroline

While I heart Damon, I agree that I'd be thrilled to see Elena end up alone. (So long as Damon is happy.) I think that is what bothered me about the end of this episode— she just cries to Stefan that it's too hard and not fair and she wants his help. C'mon, be stronger than that! Elena can have compassion as her

I still can't figure out how that explosion/mass murder fits into everything. Or where April's character is going. I hope they didn't just introduce a human so they can kill her later.
