Why does he even bother???

My PNW aunt mentioned something about the "Tacoma Aroma" once.

I think the zombies Max Rager is killing off are zombies created by Blaine - they've all been rich dudes so far and that's Blaine's customer base.

I really hope that creepy marionette El Presidente comes back at some point.

It was definitely world peace that made Kelly miss the dance.

I've been waiting for a Rye flashback because I really liked the character first episode. The Gerherdt brother dynamic is so interesting.

Definitely have a crush on Santino Fontana now.

That's interesting. I could see it either way, but I know that even now, I want to look like Hildy.

I mean, I'm pretty fond of "garbage soap operas," so I'm not feeling misrepresented.

The hats alone are works of art.

I'm sad to say I watched a season of that show. The only thing I condoned was fixing teeth. Beyond that, they all came out looking like Real Housewives, which was depressing on a lot of levels (or am I thinking of Extreme Makeover? Similar shows, anyway).

I loved Work of Art so much. It was so genuinely weird and fun to watch. Whoever did the casting for the show did a great job finding actually interesting artists/reality-show characters. And Teti's reviews on this site were some of my favorite things I've read on the AVC.

Even headphones + annoyed face doesn't always make them go away. I had a bus guy for awhile in grad school who would not take a hint, no matter how pointedly I ignored him. I ended up staying on campus an hour longer than necessary so we wouldn't be on the same bus anymore.

Peyton's return is most welcome - Liv really needs some true friendship in her life (Ravi counts, obvs, but there's nothing like your BFF).

The way Major realized he'd hit bottom was perfect for the character, though. It was a nice reminder of who he used to be (and still is, buried deep).

Petra's celebration dance was my favorite.

Bear is interesting to me. He fully supports and even suggested his mother assuming leadership of the Gerhardts and he wants his kid to get an education. He might not be as happy to be a Gerhardt as Dodd.

It kind of hinted at some even darker abuse, really. Poor girl.

It is, but it's also in one of the defining scenes of the movie. That said, this episode incorporated that bit of dialogue well, so I'm not bothered by it.

That, along with the mom joke later, was the best. Lou gets a little sarcastic in tense situations and I love it.
