Oops. I meant victim.

I commented further down before I saw your comment, but I have to imagine it was a deliberate nod to Anne Frank.

Production design note: When Nixon goes to the post office, there's an Opekta poster hanging on the wall. Opekta was the company running out of 263 Prinsengracht, now the Anne Frank House. It's a nice nod to the most-recognized Holocaust survivor.

Maybe they're writing her a loving tribute, the way they did for WWII veteran and beloved author Kurt Vonnegut: http://youtu.be/uDrqGoL4KBo

How perfect was that line from Bert, the man who deemed Ida Blankenship an astronaut? He had a bit of the poet in him, the racist old relic.

The stocking feet really made it. Bert Cooper was an eccentric in life and having a song-and-dance play him out seems perfect.

That interview was with the set hair stylist, I believe. She lost one of her hands in the accident. I really hope the producers have to pay out big, at the very least, for this.

You just described my entire graduating class.

That actually sounds awesome.

Stan is definitely Rhoda.

That might be the great Pete Campbell line of the season. A thing like that.

MST3k particularly, but an appreciation for b-movies generally has led to many great friendships for me.

Sooooo many JNCOs and chokers. And lots of body glitter.

What are you even talking about? I looked AMAZING in my shorts with tights and socks/vest combo and I will not hear any differently.

My friend left her huge book of CDs sitting in the backseat the other day and, out of reflex, I asked if she wanted me to hide it under the passenger seat. She laughed at me.

Microwaved CDs hanging from your car's rear-view mirror was a popular trend in my high-school in the early 00s.

We had to get a Zip drive for computer class in 8th grade. I remember my mom complaining about it because they cost $40.

A real dame, that Miss Patty.

Which are completely proportional! People are crazy. In what world is Christina Hendricks not considered the most attractive person in the room?

That's good to know. I admit, most of my knowledge of mental illness in the 60s comes from Cuckoos Nest and The Bell Jar, which now I think of it, are based on events that occurred in the 50s.
