Hey Dude is basically a cable-access level production.

This is how I feel about The Goonies. I have never seen The Goonies ("YOU'VE NEVER SEEN GOONIES???") and I'm not planning on seeing it. I just accept that I missed seeing it as a kid and probably won't see it the same way if I were to watch it as an adult.

DO THEY TALK ABOUT COUSIN SKEETER?

I will forever defend Andie's dress. No, it's not the cutest dress ever, but it's all Andie. She couldn't have just worn Iona's dress because she had to make it her own.

Did any of us really want Michael to stick around much longer? LCK usually does the "re-make the thing you just failed at" challenge, which is generally kind of fun. Especially in cases like this, where they fail twice.

Sadly.

Last Chance Kitchen Spoiler Thread:

I'm a 14-year-old girl inside and I liked Camp Rock. The oldest Jonas is portrayed as the dumbest Jonas and I find that charming and adorable.

Sadly, this didn't happen because Gia moved to New Mexico and became a junkie.

That is completely fair and I'm being serious.

LCK SPOILER:

Re: your last paragraph - I think it's nearly always the case on Top Chef. Never say you're "the _______ guy" because you will always fail at what you claim is your thing. We all knew Travis's team would end up in the bottom the second he said he knew Vietnamese cooking well.

Yeah, dude needs to get over himself. I agreed with Tom - why would you add white chocolate to corn?

Honestly, I have no idea how anyone could dislike that book, especially an English teacher. My guess is she didn't like discussing rape and/or American racial politics with 14-year-olds, but who knows. She's wrong any way you look at it.

My high school boyfriend matches that description almost completely.

We weren't allowed to watch the Baz Luhrman version because it was rated PG-13, but the 60s version was perfectly fine. Not that the Luhrman version is so great, but forbidding it because of a rating system that didn't even exist in the 60s always struck me an inherently stupid.

I'm just here for the Disqus bashing.

Your dedication to this bit is inspiring. Please, do use it again.

Mini-van music.

You have a great gift for rhyme.
