The 3D is good but not great. There's a lot of great water splashing, depth in scenes, and some nifty special effects, but it's not comparable to Tron: Legacy or anything like that. If you're used to converted 3D movies, it'll probably be good.

ZZT is a terrific choice. I was never around for its heyday, but it has such an impenetrable, vibrant culture surrounding it that I want to learn more about.
