I'm thinking Amber and Ryan aren't going to last through the season. Maybe I don't like it because I'm about the same age as Amber (and I assume Ryan. Do we know how old he is?) and people I went to high school with are getting married and I know I am no where near ready for that. But also, the fact they rushed into

"Family Members" definitely isn't their worst gimmick ever. That honor belongs to Cook Islands, when tribes were divided by race.

I feel like the easiest solution to Chevy Chase's leaving would be for everyone to come into the study room and notice Pierce is gone and have someone ask "Where's Pierce?" and for someone else to say "He dropped out."

It's a bit late in the season for this, but one thing I've hated in the last couple seasons (and maybe it started earlier than I noticed) is how the tribe's only have clothes in their original tribe's color. It's super distracting. I feel like the buff was enough of a distinction.

Every Eddie/Reynold conversation is basically

I laughed pretty hard after the vote when Jeff said "It's obvious we have ten very apt players" (I'm paraphrasing) because there is no way Reynold is a good player. He has stumbled through this game. He has succeeded despite not having a real strategy at any point.

Ok, since The AV Club has only reviewed the original New York and now Portland (as far as I can tell), I figured this is as good a place as any to say, I really liked Puck in San Fran. I always heard about how he was the villan of the season (and sure, he kind of was) but I totally understood where he was coming from

Usually, but in the preview for the rest of the season, it looked like Nia hit a lot of people. Maybe she goes on a rampage before getting kicked out.

I thought that's what they were leading up to! It would have been a nice surprise to get it in the middle of the season.

I thought they meant 2018 Ted was remembering that night in 2013, right? Not 2013 Ted was remembering 2008 Ted, right? I don't know. Time Travel is hard.

I think the biggest laugh for me came with Schmidt at the aquarium yelling "Gimme it!"

When Brandon first spoke up at the immunity challenge and said "I'm going to give you guys an advantage" or whatever, I expected him to switch tribes.

Well, she's a person, so even just that means it's probable she has a name.
She's on a television show, so she probably had to fill out some paperwork.
They wouldn't cast her if she left the name line blank, right?

I assume.

She has a name.

Did anybody else notice Jeff call the favorites team "Heroes" when Cochran and Phillip went up?

I wish that one really good-looking girl had stuck around from a couple seasons ago. They hinted at her having a crush on Jim (maybe in a deleted scene) and it looked like there might be an interesting plot wit Jim & Pam, but then the character just disappeared and we were stuck with the never-interesting other girl

I think the reason the crew interfered here and not in the lake scenario, or with Jan is because Pam  specifically looked to them for help.
