"Sure 'Nuff and Yes I Do" followed by "Zig-Zag Wanderer" of Captain Beeheart's debut "Safe as Milk." Mightee tastee vittles.

Is this the episode with Frank and Zoe in front of the Eakins painting? Either way,  I thought that was a nice touch.

It's probably one of the funkiest kids albums ever released. Certainly one of Carole King's most cogent after Tapestry.

You're welcome! I hope you have many happy, meaningful listens.

You are so right.

On a completely different note, but still with the "family" theme, right before Maurice Sendak died last year, I listened the "Really Rosie" soundtrack for the first time in years. Thinking about the song "Pierre" from an adult perspective make you tear up quick, especially when the lion comes into the picture,

I only ever new the Buckingham version, but I don't see why they couldn't rotate to those versions you listed (besides licensing things, obviously.)

Maybe it was just too obvious, but why didn't they use Lindsey Buckingham's song "Big Love" for the show "Big Love." It makes sense to me

Can't wait for the funky reinterpretation of "Tin Angel" from Tempest, followed by "Union Sundown." Maybe some "Country Pie" for the kids at home?

Its sad that Christine Cavanaugh retired from voice acting. She was one of the greats.

I just hope its better than the Pacific.

Fair use..idk. I said it was "like" Pink Floyd because it was an off-color version of the Dark Side cover.

Copyright?

Good to know Muscle Man is a fan of a Pink Floyd like band. Muscle band probably.

I remember watching this film for a Politics and Film class as an UG. Though more obscure, or at least it was, this is one of the greater films in the Lang pantheon.

While I think "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" is a good album, I feel that Reggie's "Honky Chateau" or "Tumbleweed Connection" are thematically tighter and less bloated.

It may be late to jump into the conversation, but here be my two cents. For me, the early episodes of HA! were some of the most profound Nicktoons of the era. The Arnold of the early eps had pathos, indeed the entire show had an extremely moral core. Stoop Kid is a good example, "Harold's Bar Mitzvah" is another.

I always liked Home Alone 2's Wet Bandit treatment, personally. I think it was the combination of the tool shed coming down the stairs and the fire-retarding toilet. The stuff of kid legend.

The original French version was on Youtube for awhile, subsequently taken down. There are still clips you can find though.
