I think Herschel needs glasses and hearing aid. The teenager was asked to put the gun down but he kept coming close to Carl asking him to take the gun from him. The teen could have been trying to get close and hit Carl. Good think Carl didn't take any chances.

Love the show but the ending left something to be desired. A few inconsistencies and WTF moments stand out for me.
1. Andrea taking her own sweet time and chatting with Milton as he was dying and about to turn into a zombie instead of trying to escape. very frustrating
