Preparation heche
Thanks for taking the time to post a thoughtful and positive comment.
I tend to ignore the trolls, as well, but wanted to respond to your post.
At least that poster didn't correct my spelling or grammar, eh? ;-)

huzzah for more "serenity"
Huz-zah.

DTV TIP
"Big Nothing."

Also (and yes, I'm finally done)
Those censorship rectangles superimposed over the sex scenes in TFINYR?
C'mon, that made you laugh, right? Right?
Okay, no more. Thanks for making me think while at work, for once.

Okay, whew, now my head hurts,…
…but I did read all of those comments. Nor did I find any indication of why Noel and Steve found TFINYR so objectionable. Clearly, you both strongly disagree with its theses (fair 'nuff), but to call it "execrable" because it is a polemic with which you happen to disagree? Did you

Thanks, noel…
…for the heads up. I did not read the comments of that crosstalk, and I'll go take a look.

Mitchell Moments
I believe that the "Mitchell" episode is the one that transitions from Joel to Mike. As I recall, the robots are showing Mike around the Satellite of Love, and explain the cinematic experiments to him. Mike looks puzzled and says: "You guys watch Joe Don Baker movies?"
MITCHELL!

chic
Not only do I agree with you, but I'm going to join you in referring to Mr. Rabin as "Nabin."
I'm being sincere, not "snarky:" I think it's a great nickname for one of my fave AVC writers, and a timesaver to boot!
NABIN!
MITCHELL!

MITCHELL!
MITCHELL!
Also: I think this interview might just be Mr. Rabin's "F For Fake." If it's not a brilliant hoax, then congratulations, Nathan, for giving them more than enough rope. Did you literally have to bite your tongue?
MITCHELL!

Steve
What was allegedly "execrable" about TFINYR?
Do you simply hate polemics? Why not bash "The Yes Men," then?
Also: have you actually seen "Sicko?" If you have, you have no doubt noticed that Moore spends significantly less time onscreen than in any of his previous works. I assume that this was a (welcome)

Juliette lewis
…pulls off the best drunk acting I've seen in years in "Grilled" (which I also thought was called "Grifted" until I got it home). I'm still half-convinced that she WAS drunk.
Eye heart Jenna Fischer as the bitchy alpha cheerleader on "Undeclared." The Anti-Pam, and every bit as hot.

Ah, yes, that's much better
Thanks.

May I please be…
…a little girl in a Miyazaka film?

Does Octopus have no bones?
Or, like, glass bones?
'Cos I think he might've done that one already.

H
There's that "H" I owe you.

Blonde nanny dingbat
Watching Ramsay favor her was more nauseating than any of the culinary mistakes that were carefully coreographed for this season.

Arguments!
The site needs a "Just the best arguments, thanks" search feature.
Those are what hooked me on Gene'n'Rog as a child.

blondie time warp
Oh, yeah: the children in "Blondie" went from kid-kids to teenagers overnight.
And, of course, Beetle Bailey was originally an undergrad. He still wasn't funny.
Who else besides Skeezix has maintained the Aristotelian unities? Opus?
It's sad that this has piqued my interest so sharply…

Funky winkerbean
I was never a fan, but it freaked me out when I picked up a paper one day and realized that the strip had shifted from "comic" to "soap opera" at some point. Also, I think a "Joanie Loves Chachi-" style time warp might've taken place in that strip.
Anyone else notice oddities like this in strips?

Dro, Seamus. Seamus, Dro.
I think you two will hit it off.
