so did like donna and everyone else just not hear the train noises in the background in the opening?

i tried reading it as well. if its unreadable its probably unadaptable for film.

Just make The Silmarillion into a film

why did pete have an earring? did i miss something

not really sure how Cameage got roped in with Schizophrenia.
basically all the best "forgotten" descendents songs are on Hallraker

the kids are what like probably 15 and 17 in the year 2030? ted better get to making babies quick

clearly season 5 was when they hit rock bottom and realized they were going nowhere. i really think the only mother related thing about season 5 was that ted was in the wrong class, but the mom was in there (in the premiere). and then the zoo episode, ugh.

also am i the only one who thought victoria was making up "klaus"? i mean she just sounded like surprised to be asked and klaus was the first name that popped into her head.

it would be a complete shame if they cop out and ted gets involved with robin. i mean they do know/remember she's been referred to as "aunt robin" many, many times, right?

it is CBS, and they'll milk anything

yeah segel says he's definitely done after season 8. i'd like to think the creators would have better sense to end it when he leaves, but i'm sure some "the ericksons move to the suburbs" thing would come up

martin short definitely nailed it, though

i hope they actually cut away to barney's wedding from time to time season and don't just show it in the pilot and the finale, as they did last year with ted being a best man at the then mystery wedding.

were you sleeping for the past 20 years, cause the phantom menace was definitely the best of the three

a stretch
yeah i definitely thing all the supposed references to Seinfeld are a big stretch. i didn't pick up on it when it aired so i doubt it was intentional

i'm going to be first in line

i think with Mike D's "commercial" rhyme you could argue he's doing a bad rhyme on purpose to show how rapping is indeed like a commercial.
