no, but TOO much thought and thinking can destroy the comic impulse. Often timing is what makes something funny.  Andy Kaufman confused those around him and sometimes his audience by just going with what he thought was funny, not spending time in analysis of who may be offended or hurt. I maybe should have given what

nice!  the only time i liked the Tim Allen "manly things"  bit is when Michael Keaton did it for like 45 seconds in the movie "Mr. Mom"  and did it better than 17 seasons of "home improvement" (or however long that show was on)

The only problem is that when people think about what they say before they say it tends to produce terrible comedy, like anything with Jim Belushi or Tim Allen "being a man" about stuff.

it would have been nice to see the publication dates that accompany these issues.

can't say no to a dame with nice pins

not to mention that short post-ROTJ clip that has Michael Bay listed as director…..dear God.  that made me want to punch someone right in the face.

A likely response from furniture.

I like Falling skies, it has a subtle subtext of fun and popcorn TV to it.  Sure the characters are straight arrows and never break, but the whole thing comes across as fun and enjoyable….as much as Humans being slaughtered and fighting to save the planet can be fun.

Where the F*** is Arli$$ ?!?

Ive recorded each episode off TV onto my abunfamt supply of betamax tapes. Look for it on ioffer.com very soon!

he needs to arrive as a new student named "piers"   look!  the jokes write themselves!

I recommend a hearty 'woo-hoo!'  it's a bit cliche, but it really does work.

with the federal reserve being stolen….and feds already being involved…It doesn't surprise me that these guys just flew into Canada. I took it as finally somebody listening to John McClane.

I'm still traumatized by a viewing of "Porky's 2" (the NEXT DAY!)  as a child.  I was told it was "hilarious' by a cousin, but even then I found it to much less than this, and also having entirely too much full frontal male nudity.   I remain heterosexual, but I still carry the mental scars of that film

oh well…..at least I have that sandwich to look forward to.

Friends?  really?  meh,  at least SportsNight and DS9 coverage continues.

As much as i thought the concept could work, sticking with one person for a whole episode clearly exposes the seams. These characyers are better in a popcorn, jump in and out, quick cut setup. it makes the pace faster, and the comedy can flow. The George Sr. Episode was the worst so far (im on the fourth), despite the

Marvin Hamlisch DIED? What?!
