Yep. He could finally stop and take a breath, and sometimes you don't realize how lost and exhausted you are until that moment.

They didn't land, which was no small feat, and it still doesn't touch on the public's understanding of what it actually meant to land on another planet. And even Apollo 8 was only the 2nd manned Apollo mission that launched. Apollo 11 was only the 3rd mission where the Lunar Module went up into space and 3rd time man

I don't think they were being cynical at all so much as they were just scared of something so out of this world. I really think it boiled down to fear of the unknown, or to put it in Mad Men terms, a discomfort with living in the not-knowing.

I took the whole end sequence and Don crying as the first moment Don had to stop and mourn the various losses he's experienced in his life lately. This whole season has circled around him not wanting to fail again with with work and his marriage and his alcoholism, and he finally got the work part back in it's place,

I think much of the same can be said for every season on some level, though season one is certainly a near-perfect season of television. But I really do find this show to be one of the most rewarding to return to. In that longer break between seasons four and five, I went through the whole series probably three or

That was Roger I believe. A tasty tidbit revealed when Don stumbled on his "Sterling's Gold" dictation tapes in "The Suitcase." Then Peggy was less angry at Don. But wow, Blankenship and those dollar bills…

Easily an A for me.

I think people have the whole Walter-Jesse relationship way mixed up. I see it like this:

Not quite. More like "No, it's not oatmeal, Ginsburg, obviously it's my ex-girlfriend who reminds me of the woman who popped my cherry who reminds me of my mother who obviously knows what I need."

While I definitely have been a critical voice of the writing, particularly in
season 8, I am definitely saddened that it's over, even though I know that it's absolutely for the best. What made watching
the show drop in quality so difficult was knowing how great the show
once was and knowing what the cast was capable

Don't forget Up All Night…as much as we all want to.

I don't care about the Puppy Parade inconsistency, I thought this line was hysterical and perfect.

I'm convinced at this point that NBC has some weird contract with Chris Diamantopoulos that demands he be put on every show. I wasn't blown away by the Germans before or now, but I liked him better on Community than his ridiculous "Brian the Boom Operator" storyline on The Office.

I've been incredibly worried about the Chang dynamic, because the Chang dynamic has been terrible since he got fired in season 1 for the most part in my opinion, but tonight's Chang was oddly reassuring that it won't be quite as bad as Security Guard Chang or Dictator Chang or Gallum Chang.

Electrocuted Pierce was atrocious. That moment hurt my soul. Troy in the cake worked for me, but only on the merits of Donald Glover's ability to make nearly anything funny. It wouldn't be the first time he's polished a turd.

And at this point, the only episode of this season so far that I really haven't liked, and I've confirmed this by rewatching it multiple times over the last few weeks, is the premiere. So much about that episode ultimately rubbed me the wrong way, and it just wasn't very funny. Halloween episode was solid, and while I

First laugh out loud moment of the season for me was courtesy of the Dean tonight.

I thought tonight was the best episode of the season by far and the first to feel like a natural episode of Community. It wasn't an all-time great by any means, but the tone and feel was far more aligned with what made Community work in the past. It wasn't perfect, but it makes me think that they got the

I'll copy and modify what I just posted in that other feature posted today:

Many fair points. I wanted to give the season more of a chance considering that every season thus far has started slow and at times been awful. Britta-Barbie Madness much, much? Ugh, that hurt.
