I do like how the AVClub gods have included a couple of video clips with the very things people are avoiding, almost shaming the spiteful folks into watching them.

I am completely with you. I think the original is a work of art and all the other games build on the basic theme. I also thought it was interesting that there was no mention in the review that the original Zelda had some elements of doing certain dungeons first. I think that's part of what made it so magnificent.

Both of these episodes are absolutely fantastic.  Two of the best in the DS9 series and that's saying a lot.  I think the cast of characters that end up in the Gamma Quadrant prison is genius.  Somehow, the Bashir / Worf / Garak / Martok combination works brilliantly.
