I can't remember how many times I played this album for people whose response was simply to dismiss them because, "They sound like Joy Division…"

I think the aspect of her death that creeped me out the most was how lucid she was right up until the moment she died. I've never actually watched a person die but I don't imagine most of them are fully aware of what's happening and able to communicate clearly about it. That was uncomfortable.

The thing that got me was how abrupt it was. Louie only got a few seconds of relief and joy out of seeing her before she collapsed. I was really glad the season ended on a much happier note than that.

Good call. I could definitely see it that way. Also, the news anchors names were ridiculous. The show certainly hasn't shied away from having ridiculous things exist or happen in its universe so it's always tough to tell what's supposed to be real and what's supposed to just be absurdist/surreal comedy. The sequence with the doll was just great. I love that he finally got the eyes out, to find that there were three of them in there for some reason. I love the little touches like that. It was funny enough watching him struggle through the process, but the addition of his look when he pours out the three eyes made it

Uh…Uno?

It's just so very great.

One of my favorite Michael Cera moments ever was them leaving the
network meeting (episode 9, I just re-watched the beginning):

I should not be as surprised as I am that a school district came up with 4 steps on how to sneeze properly and 5 steps on how to wash your hands properly.
