Yeah, the balcony bit's pretty good.

I'm usually completely fine with a vomit gag here and there, but for some reason the ones that appear in this episode make me wince much more than laugh. Even though I agree that his explanation of it being "just something the body does" is humorous, it also kinda makes me sad because I just picture that being a go-to

I never really thought about it before, but Uncle Jack basically just
creeps me out. It just occurred to me that whenever I re-watch the
series I have sort of an, "Oh, this episode" reaction to this episode,
despite the other merits the review and comments have pointed out.

I dug them, too, but also got a good chuckle out of his whole look.

@avclub-eaa88660d97aa2a15400335bcf9d93ac:disqus - I really like your take. I think your first instinct (family is safe, Walt has some showdown and then starts a new life with them) is probably unlikely, given how much Gilligan has repeatedly talked in interviews about how far Walt has moved away from being a

Yeah, I think my biggest concern at this point (if I were Mike) would be that Walt just essentially wiped out the ability to provide $100 million of product every year (isn't that what he and Jesse calculated the annual revenue to be?). Beating Gus and being king is great, but Walt destroyed more than his rival.

I didn't really have the sense of foreboding that you and others have mentioned, but I really like this take on the scene.

In regards to Walt's self assurance, I liked that he rode in the back afterwards, as if being chauffeured by his new driver.

I can definitely get carried away and jump to conclusions when I'm in "What does it all MEAN?!?" mode, and a lot of people have commented that we never really have any idea where this show's headed…so for all I know Skyler Lambert and the kids are safe back in New Hampshire and Walt's back to use a massive gun to take
