Fun idea, but if the contestants pitch ideas on stories, twists, characters, etc…then the audience would know everything that will happen on future seasons of existing shows. Or, the contestants would use up their best ideas to win the contest and then would have to go with other ideas to avoid this problem.

As I try to figure out why I keep watching this show, the only thing I can ever come up with is, "Well, it looks really good."

I thought the two kids wanting to die and the girl even asking, "How are we gonna do it?" after Penny told them what heaven was like was incredibly dark and hilarious.

I might have to try that while watching Terra Nova next time to see if it helps.

Wouldn't he rue the day, since you're implying that you wouldn't help him? You might relish it, but I don't think you'd rue it. Or I'm not getting your joke, which is very possible.

The thing about the timeline that isn't adding up for me is how they'll actually handle Lori's pregnancy from here on out. I haven't read the comics so I have no idea whether they speed things up at some point or she loses the baby, but so far in the series we've covered a couple weeks at most. Season 1 was a matter

I think I'm getting biased at this point and just expecting to laugh at his stuff more, but it's definitely Glenn Howerton's season. The high point for me was Dennis going from:

Insane/borderline learning-disabled Charlie is great, but it is nice once in a while to see him toned down without the idiocy and yelling dialed up to 11. And we still got great Charlie moments even amid his voice of reason-ism like the bed crevice and the turpentine dance.

Let's not forget that the only reason George needs a protege to read his book on risk management for him is that he has to give a presentation on it because he forgot it's on his resume as a specialty.

I don't know if I laughed at anything as hard as the Keri Russell/Felicity line.

I figured they were definitely lampooning Arcade Fire with that band. The Decemberists may have their quirks, but for the visual joke of "how the hell can that band have so many people playing so many god damn instruments on stage" I've gotta go with Arcade Fire.

I didn't even notice that, since I was probably laughing too hard at Frank's line.

@avclub-f0a25fc22f6198ce61fe90730dc075e1:disqus - honestly didn't know it wasn't Downtown Abbey until I heard it said aloud at the Emmys.

"Dee's horrible onion breath"

I don't think it was one of my favorites ever, but I'd say it definitely ranks in the top half of this season. I actually really enjoyed everyone trying to whisper over each other instead of everyone trying to yell over each other for a change, and I didn't mind that there wasn't a detailed explanation right off the

One thing I'd always heard about Michael Richards is how seriously he took his role as Kramer and that he could be pretty unpleasant to work with, and it's actually pretty apparent in some of the blooper footage with him when he gets visibly annoyed with Julia Louis-Dreyfus on a few occasions. It was always sort of a

…and it'll be at least a day before that's out of my head.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus was pretty notorious for cracking up during filming but going by the amount of blooper footage they had of her laughing at that single line, she might agree with you.

I guess I can't blame them for humanizing Ava a bit and steering her away from simply being a cartoon, but I was a little disappointed that she seems to be more comfortable around Amy now. I think my favorite part of the Ava-Amy relationship wasn't necessarily the squeamishness, but just Ava's complete lack of
