The speech that (awesome) parody is based on is still not only the best thing Sorkin has written (and I think it's important to note that the guy giving it is a villain), but part of the best movie that Sorkin has ever written. Of course, one of the things that makes the script for Malice so fucking good is that it's

@gambrinus:disqus: I'm liberal all the time and I hate this fucking show. It's the absolute worst kind of smug liberal condescension. Even when it makes points I absolutely agree with, it can't help but do so in an absolutely grating way. My favorite thing about it (by which I mean the thing I hate the thing I hate

That's exactly my opinion of Power of the Dog.

God I loved that scene last episode where he Duffy started to get his groove back. My favorite character after Raylan and Boyd.

Just be sure to give it a little patience. I think it's wonderful from the start, but it's a slow burn and it tosses you headfirst into it's established world and makes you catch up. But if after the fourth episode you're not sold I'd be surprised.

I remember catching her as the lead (playing Ma Barker) in a direct to cable movie called Public Enemies (not the Mann one) a while ago. I watched the whole thing, since I figured it would have a sex scene with her (and boy did it!), and it actually turned out to be a pretty good film. Damn underrated.

Yeah, that would be good, replacing Griffith with Russell. Theressa Russel is one of my faves, but Nancy Allen is also awesome and sexy. I wouldn't take her out of anything.

I remember watching Wild Things during puberty and being way more obsessed with her and her sex scenes than the more famous one.

Agreed on how all-around awesome Theresa Russell is, but let me just say, if you want to see Hoffman giving a shit, watch him on Luck. Far and away the best acting he's done in years and years. If he keeps it up, it could very well end up being his finest work. I shit you not.

I thought they only shot them.

Yeah, I don't get how Todd sees him as a sleazeball. A schlub and sad-sack? Sure. But from the first he's gone to bat for his jockey's (even if he's not been wholly successful), and though he can be a real hard-ass to both Joey and Ronnie, it's only out of concern - in Joey's case he's trying to wise him up and show

Yeah, I'm gonna try and make as many as I can. Shoot me an email, maybe we can meet up during one of them (no homo). I have almost no friends with whom I can shoot the bull about Zulawski, and I sure as shit aint taking a date to any of these.
