    I love Spike
Even though he should've reasonably been killed a bunch of times, I'm glad they never got rid of Spike. I have an uncritical love of that character. If Joss Wheadon made a movie where Spike taught poor, inner-city youth poetry using rap lyrics, I'd see that movie. If Wheadon penned a script about Spike

I think all the other characters just wanted to have sex with him. Even Riley. Especially Riley.

One of the writers said Riley was supposed to have a Jimmy Stewart quality. Now, that would have been endearing and interesting if they could have hired an actor that imbued him with that kind of quality at all. Sadly, Jimmy Stewart had passed away, and also would have been in his 80's at the time the show was

    killing spike
I don't understand why she didn't kill Spike at the end of "Out of My Mind," especially after she found him lurking outside her house. I'm glad she didn't, but it made little sense. That scene where he and Riley pass the bottle back and forth is pretty funny and poignant. I hate to say it, but if Riley

I was kidding…sort of. David Boreanaz brings a lot of humor and vulnerability to the role and makes Angel likeable, but on paper the character's pretty creepy. He's a much older man who seduces a young, inexperienced girl while keeping key facts about his violent past secret. And it all goes horribly wrong after he

Good point. He's also had sex with her with her when she was underage after giving her a cheap, silver ring you can get at any mall kiosk for $12.95, implying that they were then spiritually married.

"Fool for Love" is my favorite Buffy episode. I love how it sets up the tragedy of Spike, how he's been an outsider in every group he's tried to belong to and how he's always gone for women who can't love him.

It also sets up everything that happens between Buffy and Spike later on from the creepy

Also he dumped her right before prom. Douche move!

he could have also mentioned he was a vampire before making out with her. But he didn't do that either, or mention he knew Spike. Angel's kind of a douche.

Spike's my favorite, too. (Spoiler) I think his character is interesting because after he gets chipped, he's kind of at war with himself. In season 6 and 7, especially in "Beneath You" that is literal. James Marsters cycles through every iteration of the character in that episode.
Throughout season five and six he
